TSRCC

Our assignment this month was to complete the phrase---"A Day With...." for the title of the page. Any colors were okay. We were to use strip journaling and make a handmade embellishment.
Pam---she changed the title to "A Day at the Flea Market."
Mary chose "a day with so much beauty."
Linda picked "A Day with Lauren."
Barbie used the clever title of "A Day with Mason" and told the story of her canning with Mason jars.
I always encourage everyone to bring anything else of interest that they've worked on. This is from Linda---a purse scrapbook.

Lola did "A day in the life of the boy" about her nephew who she keeps one day a week.
Lola also did a couple of mini books this month.
Jan's title, "A Day with Girlfriends" and included a fold out.
This page shows the foldout open.
My Layout: "A Day with my Peeps." I embroidered "peeps" for my handmade embellishments.
The challenge for next month is to use puzzle pieces on the page and a color scheme of light blue, brown, aqua, olive green and white.

AYM/3

Several of the girls were absent this month. I apologize that I forgot to send out the meeting reminder. I was sick last week and actually thought I had done it. I'll be sure to do it next month.

This month's assignment was to scrapbook your successes. It's hard to toot your own horn, but these girls did a good job.

Next month's assignment is to scrapbook your hobbies and collections. Here's my layout:

I somehow managed to forget to photograph my own layouts. I'll just have to post them later. Here are this month's layouts with a couple from last month.

End Page

I'll be teaching a technique class at the Creative Haven Scrapbook Retreat at the Wildwood Resort in Steeleville, MO. I didn't have much of a budget to work with, so this is what I came up with:
They'll learn a little about stitching on the page and using paint as an adhesive. It's a simple page, but that's what you need when you have a room full of scrapbookers at all different levels.

AYM/3

This month's topic was about your ancestors---or a beloved heirloom. Just something about your heritage. The kit contained vintage cabinet cards. Not everyone used them, but I love the layouts with them. They add just the right vintage touch.

The topic for next month is to focus on your successes and accomplishments. Here is my layout:
