AYM/By the Numbers

This month, the challenge was to scrapbook an important phone number. Everyone interpreted the topic in their own way.
Erin used the title: "for a good time call" and tells about the phone number and fun she had when she was a little girl.
Carla's title is "Dial Back Time" and tells the story of a simpler time growing up on the family farm
This is Janet's layout from last month. "Everybody look here, smile! Click-Flash.
Janet's layout this month: "Ring, Ring, Ring Goes the Telephone"
She attached the large tag with a brad to allow it to slide to the side so you could read the rest of the story.

Jeanne's layout is titled---"toll-free talking." Her journaling is below. I completely forgot that I had an 800 number during the 1990's. In the long run, it saved us a lot of money.

Here's Jeanne's journaling. That sure brought back a lot of memories.
"From LAND to CELL phones" is Pam's layout. She used her personal phone book on the layout.
My layout: "Turner 6-2209" was about our phone when I was a kid from our party line to our 2nd phone for us girls. In the pocket is a page from our family phone log. It evoked a lot of memories for me besides a reminder of everyone's handwriting. I told Jeanne she was going to be jealous when she saw that I had the phone log. Since I have the whole tablet, I'll share with her!
Karolyn's title: "Phone Home"incorporated a picture of the house she grew up in along with a picture of her and her dad---but the main thing on that photo is the old phone on the wall---shown by the stitched arrows.
Surprisingly, Susan and Karolyn picked the same title for their pages. Susan's version of "Phone Home" shows pictures of their phone that is still in her mother's home after 59 years.
Carla was lucky enough to have a photo of her as a little girl on the phone which lead to the perfect title: "Still Talking."

AYM/ABC

This month's layouts. Come on you girls, some of you have a lot of "catching up" to do. You should never feel pressured with this hobby of ours. But do give yourself permission to get those stories told!
