AYM/3 "Kick-Off"

I started "A Year of Memories" this week with a Christmas party at The Scrap Room in Mt. Juliet. I met with Rebecca and Kathy on Tuesday night---they will be joining us by taking the workshop as a "correspondence course."

On Wednesday, I met the rest of the group (minus 2---who couldn't make it)---there are 19 in this group. It's going to be a fun year.


Here are the recipes I promised:


Chicken Almond Cheese Ball
2-8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 lg. can Swansons chicken (there are 3 sizes---this is the largest one---like a large can of tuna)
1 pkg. Ranch dressing (dry mix)
1-6 oz. jar diced pimentos, drained

Mix all together. Form in to a ball (or 2 smaller balls) and roll in to sliced almonds. Wrap and chill.

Crab Roll-ups
1 can of crab, drained
1 can of diced green chills
8-oz. cream cheese, softened
garlic powder
flour tortillas

Mix all ingredients. Spread on flour tortillas and roll up. Chill an hour or two before slicing.
