Featured Technique

Hexagons are all the rage and I love them. The Creative Memories punch (discontinued) makes it easy.

 A Simple border---notice how they carry from one page to the other to add visual flow.

If you enlarge this picture, you can see that after placing the hexagons, I stitched them down with a red zig zag stitch. I also stitched down the journaling blocks. Stitching directly on the photo looks good. I had never done that before.

You really can't go wrong with hexagons. And, they are a great way to use up scraps. Give it a try and send me pictures of your pages. I'll post them here.
