TSRCC

The challenge this month was to use a number in the title, try something you've never done or used before and the colors were, lime, red, blue, yellow and orange. It turned out to be a fun layout to do.
Jan chose the challenge this month. Her layout is about her brother's first birthday. She made the little paper rolls for the first time.
Linda's title "2 at the Beach." She cut the palm trees out of the paper.
Sandy's title: "4 Super Stars; 1 Swim Meet." She punched the stars out of paper towels and inked them. In order to get a good cut, she placed the paper towels between two pieces of paper.
My layout is called "These 2 Sleep Together." I used some products that had been sitting around for quite awhile including liquid pearls.
Charon's layout is also for AYM. Titled: "Happiness is the Beach." She numbered all the photos with her journaling on the left.

Linda has chosen our challenge for next month. We are to choose a song as the title for our page. Here are the colors:
The colors are a little hard to see. They are lime, olive, pink and teal.

On another note, I was telling the girls at lunch about a new recipe I tried this weekend. I said I'd post it here for all.

Chocolate Pudding Dump Cake

1 small box instant chocolate pudding (I used fat and sugar free).
1 3/4 cup milk (can use skim)
1 chocolate cake mix (plain, cheap)
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Mix pudding with milk. When thickened, add cake mix (dry). Mix together. It will be very thick. Spread in to a sprayed 9x13 pan. It's sort of hard to spread---I ended up using my fingers. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until edges start pulling away from pan. The chocolate chips will not melt (although they will be somewhat gooey when you touch them). I cooled it completely. It has a pudding-ish texture to the cake. It's very good and so easy.
